YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO JOIN ME FOR A DAY OF PRAYER, FASTING, AND CHRISTIAN MOVIES AT MY HOME.
Hey friends! I really want to start this year off right by taking time to fast, pray, and wait on the Lord. Please join me at my home in midtown east on Friday night and all day Saturday (January 13 and 14) for 24+ hour fast. I’m hoping people can join for the whole event, but the RSVP options at the bottom of this page allow for partial attendance. I want to keep the list small however, so I would really appreciate it if you could respond as soon as you can. Thank you!
THE PLAN
Friday (1/13)
► Start fasting on Friday (as early in the day as you can); I’ll probably just eat breakfast.
► At 7:30pm, folks can come to my home, and we’ll watch a great Christian movie
► We’ll try to end the night no later than 11:30PM, so people have time to get home and rest
Saturday (1/14)
► Plan to arrive at my place around 9:00AM
► Throughout the day we’ll have sessions for reading the Bible, discussing scripture, watching Christian movies, and lots of prayer
► The main focus will be on quiet meditative prayer and waiting to hear what the Lord wants to say to you in this season
► We’ll break our fast by ordering food at 8pm and eating at my home
